When to use Sweat Replacer

Start To Finish image

Sweat Replacer is an oral electrolyte.

Question: I am planning a long ride this summer. Should I give my horse Sweat Replacer after the ride?

Answer: Yes, Sweat Replacer is an oral electrolyte for horses that should be provided when horses have been exercised to the point they sweat. When horses sweat they loose important electrolytes that must be replaced in the diet. Horses require these electrolytes to be replaced so they can continue to exercise and also so they can recover from exercise.
